HOUSE RULES

Founding Phase (Soft Launch)
Last updated: January 17, 2026

Welcome to Eixample 46 👋 This is a focus-first coworking floor for people who want to work well and keep the space calm, professional, and easy to share. These rules are here to protect everyone’s experience.

1) What this space is (and isn’t)

  • Eixample 46 is designed for focused work and long-term collaboration.

  • Friendly conversation is welcome — just keep it considerate to others.

  • We’re not a high-traffic drop-in coworking or a general event venue.

2) Access & security

  • Please don’t let others enter behind you (“tailgating”). Everyone should use their own access.

  • Keep doors closed after you enter and don’t share cards/keys.

  • For security and access control, we may request a valid ID/passport and store the document type + number. We use this only for operations/security and don’t share it (except with service providers needed to run our forms/payments).

  • If you lose a card/key, tell us as soon as possible.

Current hours (beta reality)

  • Community hours: Mon–Fri 9:00–21:00, Sat-Sun Closed (community and events can be different).

  • If you arrive outside building door hours, please ring PRAL 1.

3) Zones & noise (quick guide)

We have different areas for different energy levels:

Quiet / Focus Zone (and “Cave”, if designated as quiet)

  • No calls or meetings here.

  • Keep it very quiet; headphones always.

Coworking / Shared Desk Area

  • Soft conversation is okay.

  • Longer calls should go to a meeting room or a designated call area when possible.

Living Room + Dining Room

  • Great for breaks and casual chats.

  • Please keep volume moderate during coworking hours.

Simple rule: if your sound might distract someone nearby, lower it or move zones.

4) Calls, meetings & booking rooms

  • Please book meeting rooms/areas before using them.

  • Start and finish on time, and leave the room reset (chairs, cables, whiteboard, trash).

  • Fair use applies, especially for members — during the founding phase we may add simple limits to keep things available for everyone.

5) Shared spaces & cleanliness

  • Leave your desk and common areas as you’d like to find them.

  • Kitchen/coffee corner: wash dishes, wipe surfaces, and keep it tidy.

  • Try to avoid strong-smelling food in work areas — use the dining area for meals.

6) Guests

  • Guests are welcome when approved by the team, when attending an event, or as part of a booked meeting.

  • Guests should follow the same rules, and members are responsible for them.

  • If someone is coming to work from the space, they’ll need a pass or membership.

7) Studios (private offices)

  • Studio members: enjoy your space — and please keep shared areas respectful.

  • Founding customization is possible under guidelines (ask us before installing or changing anything).

  • Please don’t move shared furniture or alter common areas without approval.

8) Events & photos

  • Events are curated and subject to approval — we keep them thoughtful and respectful of the building.

  • Please be mindful when filming/photographing and avoid close-ups of others without consent.

9) Payments, deposits & cancellations

  • Access card deposit: €15 (where applicable).

  • Some bookings may have cancellation/no-show terms depending on the type.

  • Memberships and studio agreements follow their specific terms.

10) Respect & safety

  • Be kind and respectful — harassment or discrimination isn’t tolerated.

  • No smoking indoors. No illegal substances.

  • Please follow building safety rules and emergency guidance.

11) Founding phase feedback (it matters)

We’re improving the space week by week. If something could be better, tell us:

  • Scan the Help/Issue QR, or

  • Message the host
We review feedback regularly and update what we can.

12) If something needs adjusting

If a rule is being stretched (noise, calls, guests, etc.), our team may ask for a quick adjustment to protect focus. Repeated issues can lead to limited access — rare, but we keep the space fair for everyone.
